چکیده
Abstract Different basic substrates, – Si wafers, (001) SiO 2 , printer paper, Al O 3 micro-processed or diamond abrasive films, have been used to create active Ag and Au nanostructures. In this lecture, we report the use of pulsed-laser deposition thermal both followed by annealing; results are compared. Advanced substrates on were produced in view surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) detection imidacloprid (Nuprid 200 SP) neonicotinoid insecticide amounts much smaller than those ordinarily applied agricultural medicine. The SERS peaks intensity rose at least one order magnitude after annealing metal films nanoparticles arrays formation. enhancement factor (EF) was estimated be >5×10 4 limit (LOD) reached being < 0.5 nM. properties advanced compared discussed. importance as a relatively inexpensive simple method is emphasized regulating, monitoring controlling level such chemicals environmental pollutants, thus precluding harming human and, especially, honey bees’ health.

Large area flexible SERS active substrates using engineered nanostructures.
Surface enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) is an analytical sensing method that provides label-free detection, molecularly specific information, and extremely high sensitivity. The Raman enhancement that makes this method attractive is mainly attributed to the local amplification of the incident electromagnetic field that occurs when a surface plasmon mode is excited at a metallic nanostructure. ...
متن کاملTowards quantitatively reproducible substrates for SERS.
There is a need for a method to facilitate the development of novel, reproducible colloidal surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) substrates to encourage the use of SERS in applied studies. In this study we show for the first time that by using suitably designed SERS experiments in conjunction with multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA), an objective assessment of colloidal SERS reproduc...
متن کاملReview of SERS Substrates for Chemical Sensing
The SERS effect was initially discovered in the 1970s. Early research focused on understanding the phenomenon and increasing enhancement to achieve single molecule detection. From the mid-1980s to early 1990s, research started to move away from obtaining a fundamental understanding of the phenomenon to the exploration of analytical applications. At the same time, significant developments occurr...

متن کاملProgrammable SERS active substrates for chemical and biosensing applications using amorphous/crystalline hybrid silicon nanomaterial
We present the creation of a unique nanostructured amorphous/crystalline hybrid silicon material that exhibits surface enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) activity. This nanomaterial is an interconnected network of amorphous/crystalline nanospheroids which form a nanoweb structure; to our knowledge this material has not been previously observed nor has it been applied for use as a SERS sensing mat...
